The Anne Frank Project uses storytelling as a vehicle for community building, conflict resolution, and identity exploration. Inspired by the wisdom of Anne Frank, AFP surfaces and shares stories stifled by oppression. www.annefrankproject.com
AFP tours performances, which are created based on the needs of schools and communities. AFP gives presentations on the power of storytelling, facilitates story-building workshops, and tailors drama-based education residencies for schools.
AFP's annual Social Justice Festival supports sessions that provide tools and vocabulary for community building, conflict resolution, and identity exploration. Through kinesthetic workshops, performances and exhibits festival participants activate theory into practice.
Story-Building in Rwanda: Each year AFP leads a new group of university students on a heart- stretching trip to Rwanda. Experiencing this country’s remarkable reconciliation process as they create their new story inspires our work throughout the year.
- DRAMA-BASED EDCUATION CERTIFICATION TRAINING
AFP certifies individuals and groups in AFP’s story-building process to inspire action, creativity, and community in classrooms, organizations, and businesses.
