Are you interested in traveling to another country to work at a host institution? Have you heard of the Fulbright Program but have no idea of what it really entails? Join me for an interactive conversation on the Fulbright Experience. I had the opportunity to serve as a Fulbright Scholar in 2012-2013 and in 2015 in Ukraine. I also serve as a member of the U.S. Fulbright Program, U.S. Peer Review Committee for Ukraine, Bulgaria, Moldova, and Belarus, 2016 – 2018.

Sponsored by the United States Department of State www.state.gov Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Fulbright Program provides funding for students, scholars, teachers and professionals to undertake graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools. In this session, I will provide an overview of Fulbright Programs, and tell you a bit about my Fulbright Scholar adventure. You will be able to explore what program may be right for you, how to search for awards, and how to write a successful application.

Notes: Please Note: This course is 1 hour and 15 minutes and runs from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
