Campuswide Memorial Service
The grief we experience from the loss of a family member, classmate, or co-worker is one of the most serious traumas we can encounter. Publicly remembering those who have passed away can have a positive, healing effect.

The Life Celebration Memorial Service Committee will hold a campuswide memorial service from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18 in Rockwell Quad to honor students, faculty, and staff members who have died in the past year (rain location, Rockwell Hall). A reception will follow.

Please send the names of students, faculty, and staff members who have died in the past year to Ronald A. George, senior counselor, Counseling Center, c/o Weigel Health Center 219, or georgera@buffalostate.edu by Wednesday, April 10.

Formal acknowledgement will be given only to those members of the campus community who have died this academic year, but the ceremony will provide time to remember others who have passed away as well. Contact George for more information.
