Singer to Work with National Science Foundation
Jill Singer, professor of earth sciences and science education, has been serving the college as acting director of the Undergraduate Research Office. For the 2001–2002 academic year, she will be on leave, working as a program officer at the National Science Foundation. Singer will continue to lead the college's work in student research, dividing her time between Washington, D.C., and Buffalo.

The third annual student research and creativity celebration was a great success, and with the faculty planning committee and faculty coordinators in place, next year's celebration promises to be at least equally as stellar.
